Aspire has developed two new Leadership courses in response to the ever-changing workplace environment we have seen due to the global pandemic.
We are experiencing a new way of working, and the ‘New Normal’, involves dealing with shifting work processes and often changes in strategic priorities.
This has also meant that a shift in leadership skills is often required by organisations to enable and ensure growth and prosperity for the future.
Leadership will play a central role in the new agenda; the leaders and managers of tomorrow will require a new set of skills. They will be required to innovate, be strategic and lead in a new way in the new era.
WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
Recent research has shown that Australian organisations are exhibiting slow progress toward gender equality (Kulik, 2021).
This is particularly evident in the FIFO mining sector in WA, where recommendation 5 of the ‘Enough is Enough’ parliamentary report (2022) indicated that there should be a specific focus on the development of managerial and leadership positions for women.
Forbes (2021) has indicated that by integrating traits that are more evident in females such as empathy, adaptability, and diversity will lead to productivity increases, greater life-work integration, and positive work experiences are just some of the tangible outcomes.
We have partnered with leading academic Professor Vicky Vass, to design a flexible solution that is based on a comprehensive in-depth analysis of what the leading global Business Schools are currently offering in their corporate education programmes.
