Recently, Aspire Performance Training was engaged by the iconic Perth Mint, to design and execute a bespoke Leadership and Management Course for thirty front-line leaders in operational divisions.
Based on an overall business assessment, the course is designed to evaluate current staff skillsets and identify key areas of improvement to meet the growing demands of The Perth Mint as a progressive business.
Created by our team specialists to run over a flexible 12-month period, the program consists of 12 custom-created face-to-face workshops, where trainees will complete 12 commerce units and written assessments, resulting in all participants receiving a nationally recognised BSB40120 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
The traineeship is designed to ensure there is no disruption to the busy schedule of staff and as such learning is completed on the job and by gathering evidence, which is then discussed in the attendance of workshops.
The Aspire Experts involved in hosting this project include Director, Jane Mahon, Learning and Development Coordinator, Maddy Veenstra and, Learning and Organisational Development Manager, Karen Kipling, who are all recognised as experts in their field of study, with great facilitation from Denise Neville, Consultant Trainer.
Based on the business’s requirements, subjects that will be explored include Leadership, Workplace Relations, Communication, Difficult Conversations, Leading Teams, Leading Diversity, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Health/ Safety, Sustainability, Personal Work and Operational Work.
Aspire is thankful for the opportunity to help this iconic brand improve performance and provide its staff with the skillsets to unleash their potential. Special mention to both the COO of Perth Mint, Justin Kees, and Business Partner (People & Culture), Alexander Bunatyan, for their dedication to The Perth Mint’s staff and their determination to continue to improve their business model and strategy.
