Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Apply the current legislative requirements for client verification and the right to deal process in commercial transactions.

2. Recognise privacy and cybersecurity risks in commercial leasing and sales operations, and apply mitigation strategies to protect client information.

3. Interpret lease termination and short-term lease provisions within the Commercial Tenancy Act framework and relevant case law.

4. Maintain compliance standards set by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIS) for the 2025 CPD year.
